6th, 7th, & 8th Grade students from the Cornell Student Council and two teachers came to volunteer at the Livingston County Humane Soticety tonight. All the dogs were walked and the cats were brushed and entertained by the students. It was a beautiful day and wonderful the students came to spend time with the animals. They also brought new toys, copy paper, towels, treats, and many other much needed items. Thank you for sharing your afternoon with our animals and come back real soon. The animals will really sleep good tonight. They loved being outside being walked and several of the kids were even running with the dogs. When it was time for them to come in they were happy to see their kennells and call it a night. The cats loved all the activity going on and were really kept busy!
