Paws for Cause is an Animal Supply Drive cosponsored by Good Samaritan Nursing Home and various Girl Scout Troops in Livingston County.

The kick off was held on March 14th at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home. It will continue for two weeks.

The animals gave out their wish list! The dogs and cats visited with the residents and JariLynn Ablertson’s Brownie & Girl Scout Troop.

The girls are currently working on a badge. They asked a lot of good questions and spent a lot of time spoiling our animals.

All the animals went home a few pounds heavier from the treats the girls gave them.

The girls plan to volunteer this summer at the shelter walking the dogs and brushing the cats. Our animals really love having people coming out and spending time with them.
