Well HAPPY NEW YEAR! Sorry I missed it, I'm a party animal. My schedule was so full of parties, just couldn't make time for this blog....it's a new years resolution to do better next year (and lose 5lbs, hehe) There are a MILLION animals out here! Surely you're thinking about a new dog or cat...I mean come on, what adds to a great life more than a great pet?! Trust me, there are some really nice animals out here, even I have taken a break from picking on them for awhile. COME OUT AND SEE ME! Oh, sorry, I meant...COME OUT AND SEE THE ANIMALS (& me!).

Happy Thanksgiving. Well, it will be soon. Don't forget about me. I love turkey. I love stuffing. I especially love tuna pie. I rarely can convince the girls to give me turkey or stuffing or any of that stuff. But they always remember my tuna pie! Feel free to drop me off some goodies....I am always grateful!

Did you hear Light A Bulb starts this month? They need YOU to make a donation in honor or memory of your pet. Lets try to light all the trees all the way this year! It would be good for me too you know. More people coming in, means more people paying attention to ME!!

Trick or treat...I didn't get any candy!! I was here ALL day and got nothin. Well, I did get some greenies. (yum, those are sooooo good). Hope you've all been staying warm. I begged for a new bed, and the girls finally listened and got me a big round fluffy one. Life is good. We still have alot of cats and dogs out here! Looking for something besides candy for halloween, come on out to the shelter! You know I will greet you and who can resist me!

WHEW....what a busy summer! And their is still SO much to do! I have to admit, I've been napping extra long because of all the commotion! What can I say, it's a lot of work watching everything and everyone.

Did you know the girls are going to be taking animals out on Saturday (9-19-09)? Not me of course, they never let me go anywhere. But they'll be at the Maurice's Fashion Show, the Grace Episcopal Church Pet Blessing, and the Dwight Harvest Days! All three places at the same time! I'm telling you, it's busy out here!

So stop by sometime, there are a lot of kittens still! And PLENTY of dogs too (I've swatted a few in the nose, excuse their scratches..ha ha ha).

Still here. A few people have inquired about me.....but the girls won't let me go. I have to admit, I do really like it here! I like that I can do WHATEVER I want after hours. (I especially enjoy teasing the cats in the Main Cat Room....ha ha ha! Don't tell anyone!)

There are some cons to living here though....like, I Got my ears cleaned today, and I will NEVER forgive them. I like them dirty, thank you very much.

There are a million kittens in this place right now too! I can hardly believe it! If your interested come on out, a perk is you get to see me!
