We would like to introduce our newest litter of babies! Allis, Wrangler, Holland, Ollie, Chevy and Dakota are finally 8 weeks old now and ready to venture out on their own! They are incredibly affectionate and they love cuddling up and playing with one another! Allis, Holland, Chevy and Dakota are all female. Wrangler and Ollie are male. Unfortunately these bouncing baby boys and girls are positive for FIV. They will need to be placed in a home where there are no other cats or other FIV positive cats. FIV cannot be passed to dogs or other species of animals so there is no risk posed to other household pets when adopting a FIV positive cat. All cats have unique, wonderful personalities. Cats with FIV are no exception. Since these cats are able to live long, healthy lives, there is no reason that they cannot be a part of someone’s family. Also, it is normal for kittens of FIV positive mothers to have false positive tests up until they are 6 months of age. So, just because they test positive now, does not mean that they really are positive.
